Quotes like that become mainstream. Digital transformation is culture change.
Culture change requires leadership. So far so good. But one thing has not been fully understood despite many years of talking about culture and leadership. Culture change requires that leaders change. Why? Because culture change is the hardest job on earth for company leaders. And no heroes have ever remained unchanged on their quest. So it is even more true for normal human beings who just happen to be company leaders: “Change thyself, leader, to change the behaviors and mindset of others!”
